Privacy Policy
Effective date: 13 August 2026
Product: Trust Network Suite (VS Code / Cursor extension)
Operator: Trust Network (“we”, “us”)
This policy explains what the Trust Network Suite extension (“the Extension”) stores, what it sends, and how to contact us. By installing or using the Extension, you agree to this policy.
1. Data is stored locally
Profiles, license keys, cached license status, SSH/SFTP settings, audit logs, and similar configuration live on your machine (VS Code user/workspace settings and, where available, the OS keychain). We do not operate a telemetry backend and we do not sell personal data.
We cannot read this data unless you send it to us (for example in a support email).
2. What is sent off your machine
The Extension does not upload your network profiles or diagnostics to Trust Network servers.
The only vendor API we call for licensing is Polar (api.polar.sh): when you activate or refresh a license, we send the license key, Polar organization id, a device label (hostname + short machine id), and—if configured—a Polar access token. A successful result is cached locally for up to 30 days.
Other network traffic happens only because you used a tool:
- Polar checkout in the browser when you buy Pro / Pro Plus
- Optional Cloud Sync (GitHub Gist) if you paste a token
- Optional WhoisXML if you set an API key
- Ping, traceroute, speed test, WHOIS, DNS, GeoIP, SSH, SFTP, and VPN to hosts you choose

3. Your rights
Depending on your location (including GDPR and CCPA where they apply), you may request access, correction, or deletion of personal data we hold. For Polar billing records, use Polar’s customer portal or Polar’s privacy policy. To stop license checks, clear trust.licenseKey and trust.licenseCache in Settings.
To exercise these rights, email support@trustsoftsolutions.com.
